Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Clarence Keith Edwards, 91, went to be with Jesus and his other loved ones July 26, 2012. Keith and his twin brother were born February 10, 1921, in Chewelah, Wash. They were the last of five children born to Vera and Albert Edwards. Keith grew up living in Oregon, Washington, and California. As children, Keith and his twin brother loved electric trains. If ever they were missing they always could be found by the train tracks. After graduating from Hoover High School in Glendale, Calif., in 1940, Keith joined the United States Air Force and was accepted into pilot training. After the war he attended Gonzaga University. Both he and his twin had a gift for mechanics and engineering and although he never graduated from college, the American Society of Engineering later awarded him with an engineering degree.

Out of their love of trains, Keith and his brother started Kadee Medal Products, a tool and die shop that relocated to Medford in 1955. The brothers still loved trains and on the side were developing a better coupling system for their hobby. Eventually their invention took off and the tool and die company became the world-renowned model railroading manufacturer, Kadee Quality Products. In 1990, the twin brothers divided the business. Keith and his wife started Micro-Trains Line Company specializing in N and Z scale model trains. In 2001, they retired and sold the business to their family. Keith's many accomplishments included serving as president of the Model Railroading Industry Association and various boards throughout the industry. He and his twin brother helped to start the Medford Live Steam Railroad Park located off Table Rock Road. Keith and his wife were honored as best medium size business for 1995 by the Austin Family Business Awards. He was a member of Scottish Rite and Masonic Lodge #103, as well as the Rogue Valley Country Club.

In 1956, Keith met the love of his life, Coral Stone, whom he referred to as his Beety eyed Monster. They were married July 6, 1957, in Medford and soon started a family. Keith was a man of integrity, had a strong faith, a keen sense of humor, was humble, loving, generous, kind, and he adored his family. During his life his activities included skiing, tennis, horseback riding, reading, bridge, and until just recently, golf. He passed on many of his interests on to his family including the love of puzzles. One activity he and his wife, Coral, loved most was traveling for business and pleasure with close friends and family. The place Keith enjoyed most was Wailea, Maui, Hawaii. And some of the best memories for the entire family is the frequent trips the extended family spent there together.

Keith was adored and will truly be missed by his wife Coral; two daughters and their husbands, Vicki and Eric Smith and Coni and Scott Engle; five grandchildren, Rachel and Katie Smith, and Tyler, Caitlin, and Conner Engle; his twin brother, Dale Edwards and family; and many wonderful friends.

Keith's family would like to thank the staff and caretakers at Arbor House for all their kindness and loving care they provided in his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the The Alzheimer's Association or the Southern Oregon Humane Society. To celebrate Keith's life all are welcome to attend the memorial service held Tuesday July 31, 2012, at 5:00 p.m., at the Rogue Valley Country Club.
