Today is the final day to vote for your favorite video in the Shakespeare Scenes video contest.

The contest presented by the Mail Tribune and Ashland Daily Tidings asked theater and movie buffs to create a short video tribute to William Shakespeare.

Entries included a theater camp's interpretation of the prologue to "Romeo and Juliet," a student scene from "The Taming of the Shrew," original screenplays and a brief biographical sketch of the bard.

Competitors vie for prizes that will be awarded based on popular vote and the expertise of a panel of judges including Livia Genise, artistic director for the Camelot Theater; Rick Cornelius, Shakespeare teacher at Ashland High School, and Miles Fletcher, actor and videographer for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Winners will be announced next week.
