"Jesse Applegate: Oregon Pathfinder" will be the subject of the "Windows in Time" history lecture at noon Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave.

The lecture will be repeated at noon Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd.

The presentation by Leta Lovelace Neiderheiser explores the life of Jesse Applegate, who led wagon trains to Oregon, helped resolve Native American issues, and fought to keep Oregon free of slavery.
