Joan Louise Bartlett, 76, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 8, 2012, at her home in Medford, Oregon.
Joan was born in Trinidad, Colo. March 28, 1936, to Earl and Nora Brown.
She was preceded in death by Bob Bartlett, whom she married January 19, 1965, in Reno, Nev. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Thompson, Betty Aarant, and Dorothy Smith; brothers, Earl Brown, George Brown, and Dick Brown; sons, Ray Bartlett and Roger Bartlett; and grandchildren, Becky Vanzant, baby Zoey, and Robert Bartlett.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Reagan (wife Iris) and Rick Bartlett (wife Roberta); sister, Karen Brown; brother, Allen Brown; grandchildren, Tia Reagan, Jennifer Harper, Brent Bartlett, Robbie Bartlett, and Ginny Fisher; as well as 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Joan loved fishing, treasure hunting at estate sales with her best friend Karen Planski, spending time in her yard carefully tending her beautiful flowers, and giving unconditional love to her cat, Baby Girl.
Her family would like to give a special thanks to the physicians at Hematology Oncology Associates; Asante Hospice; and her caregivers, Kristy, Virginia, Marci, and Beryl for their special God-given gift of caring for the sick.
A service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Conger Morris, Central Point Chapel, 800 S Front St., Central Point, OR 97502
