Charles Leroy Johnson, 76, of White City, Ore. passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012, at his home. Charles was born April 25, 1936, in Minatare, Neb. to Laurence Leroy and Elizabeth Mae (Taft) Johnson. On Aug. 10, 1973, in Reno, Nev., he married Virginia Mae Foster, who survives.
He worked for McDonald Douglas Air in California, prior to coming to Oregon. Charles was active in, and past administrator of, the Medford Moose Lodge #178.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; son, Jerry Lee Johnson; and daughter, Linda Demaria, both of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Brandon, Joey and Sarah; one great grandchild; stepson, Ken; stepdaughter, Annette; six step-grandchildren; five step-great- grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Johnson, of Medford, and Jimmy Johnson, of San Bernadino, Calif.; and sister, Norma Moore, of White City, Ore.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the Table Rock Bible Church, 10545 Table Rock Rd, Central Point, OR. Charles was laid to rest in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford, Ore. Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements.
