Local filmmakers and producers gather at the 2013 Killer Valley Horror Film Festival at 6 p.m. at the Ashland Elk's Lodge, 255 E. Main St.
Come for a night of chills and thrills under the midnight sun. The Killer Valley Horror Film Festival is an annual celebration of independent films in the horror and sci-fi genres.
The line-up includes "Vampire Camp," a low-budget, full-length feature film about finding love at a vampire-hunting workshop; an array of shorts and an awards ceremony. Stay late for the really scary stuff.
Cost is $5 donation or at least one complete meal of non-perishable foods for a hungry person in need. All donations go to the Elk's Lodge's charitable programs and food will be distributed through ACCESS.
