The Rogue Initiative for a Vital Economy kicks off Medford Beer Week at Brews, Burgers & Bluegrass, a celebration of Rogue Valley food, drink and music.

The festival will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, at Hanley Farm, 1053 Hanley Road, Central Point.

The event is family-friendly. Guest can meet local brewers and ranchers, sample brews and mingle with local music fans. Musical guests include Eight Dollar Mountain, the Turner Moore Band, Sequoia, and Siskiyou Summit. Participating breweries include Wild River Brewing, Southern Oregon Brewing, Portal Brewing Co., Fire Cirkl Meadery, Conner Fields Brewing, Caldera Brewing, Bricktowne Brewing Co. and Apocalypse Brewing Co. Root beer and sodas will also be available for purchase along with burgers, salads, dessert and a vegetarian option.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Admission includes commemorative pint glass and tasting tickets. Music-only tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 12 and under are free.
