Kenneth Edward Barker, 80, of Medford, Ore. passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at his home. Kenny was born August 27, 1932 in Los Angeles, Calif. to David and Elsie Barker.
He was proud of his service in Korea and served with the I Company 7th Infantry Regiment from 1953-1954.
Ken loved fishing, gardening, and entertaining everyone he met with his wit and charm. He loved animals, especially yellow Labrador retrievers and any kitty he ever met. Ken worked as an accountant but truly had a passion for fishing and fished commercially for swordfish on his boat for several years while accounting in the off season.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Barker; daughter, Lori Barnes, of Laughlin, Nev.; his best friend, John (Fritz) Schagar, of Hollywood, Calif.; and sister, Lyn Hutcheson, of Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
