Rogue Valley Community Television will debut a monthly news program called IMPACT, hosted by Vic Biondi.

The first show will be at 7:30 tonight on RVTV's cable channel 9 with former Medford City Councilor Al Densmore as the guest. Biondi talks with Densmore about how politics and life in Southern Oregon have changed since Densmore launched his political career as an Oregon State Representative in 1972 when he was 24. Densmore retired from public life this year.

The show is a production of the Digital Media Center on the campus of Southern Oregon University. Biondi is the program's producer and writer. SOU students work as field and studio crew, graphic designers and program post production editors. Executive producer of the program is Joe Brett, RVTV operations and client relations director.

IMPACT also airs in Grants Pass on RVTV Channel 21 at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. IMPACT also can be viewed online on the RVTV digital video player at rvtv.sou.edu.
