Medford police have released a facial composite of the man who robbed a west Medford Minute Market Monday night.
Police described the man as white, thin, in his 30s, 6-feet-1, with salt-and-pepper hair and a goatee. He was wearing a brown, hooded sweatshirt, gray ski mask, blue jeans and a dark-colored backpack.
Police responded to the convenience store at 843 W. Jackson St. at 7:18 p.m., but the suspect, who was last seen riding a black mountain bike, had already vanished into the darkness, police said.
Disguised in a ski mask, the man told store clerks he was armed with a gun and made off with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
A sketch artist was able to create a likeness of the suspect based on a witness account of the man before he entered the store.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Medford Police Department at 541-770-4783 and ask for Detective Justin Ivens.
