Two new art exhibits are set to go on display at Rogue Community College art galleries in February.

"Glorious Life" by Ming Zhour will be on display from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, Feb. 4 through 28, at the FireHouse Gallery in Grants Pass, located at the corner of Fourth and H streets.

The exhibit is a critique of China's new middle class, use of western brands and how that has devalued the deeper spiritual parts of Chinese culture. Paintings by Britta Bocala will be on display in the Community Exhibits Room. A First Friday reception is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7.

The Wiseman Gallery, located on the RCC Redwood Campus, 3345 Redwood Highway, will feature Maria Shell's "The Art of the Grid" from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 5 through 28. Shell uses vintage and contemporary commercial fabrics to create patchwork textiles.
