A 15-year-old Medford girl who went missing Monday afternoon has been found, Medford police reported.

A 15-year-old Medford girl who went missing Monday afternoon has been found, Medford police reported.

Police found Kathileen Morales, 15, at 7:20 a.m. today. Where she was located was not immediately available, but authorities said she is OK and has been transported back to her home.

7:15 a.m.

A 15-year-old Medford girl with developmental disabilities has been missing since Monday afternoon, police reported.

Authorities said Kathileen Morales was last seen at 2:38 p.m. at South Medford High School. She did not return to her home, 1551 Cunningham Ave., at her usual time. Friends and family members have been contacted, but no one has seen her.

Police say Kathileen has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, has black, curly, shoulder-length hair, and brown eyes. She was last reported wearing blue jeans with holes in the knees, a pink and black checkered jacket and red high-top tennis shoes.
