Susan Kay Beeman of Medford, Ore. passed away and went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, Thursday, February 20, 2014.

Kay was born in the Rogue Valley but spent most of her young life on the west coast (Oregon, Washington and California). In 1990 she moved back to the Rogue Valley with her husband, Wallace Beeman, and resided there until her passing.

She met her soul mate at age 25 and was able to enjoy 25 incredible years with him, exploring all that life had to offer.

She was very proud to be a mother and grandmother and her only regret was that she would not see her grandchildren grow up. She is survived by her son, Dustin Kaiser, and his two daughters.

Kay was first and foremost a woman of God. She received great enjoyment serving the Body of Christ as well as her community. Her Lord and Savior meant everything to her and she wished only to be the salt and light of the earth that God called her to be.

Due to her incredible capacity to love, she affected many lives positively and was privileged to have several deep relationships, one of which was her best friend, Pam Dorr, who meant the absolute world to her.

Besides being passionate about the people in her life, her passions also included food, cooking and art.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at New Beginnings Church in Central Point, Ore.
