  • A little local knowledge paid off for a pair of Medford boys golfers on Monday, with North Medford's Daniel Schuler and South Medford's Reese Fisher finishing in the top two spots for individuals, respectively, during a Southwest Conference match at Rogue Valley Country Club.
    Schuler stormed out to an impressive 32 on the front nine and carded a 2-under-par 70 to earn medalist honors and lead North Medford to a third-place team finish.
    Reese finished three strokes back in second place to help his South Medford team take second, six strokes behind Sheldon.
    The Panthers had three players finish among the top eight scorers, with Alex Brown and Logan Artner each posting an 81.
    Mike Piazzini led the way for Crater by posting an 87.
