    The United Methodist Church of Ashland will celebrate its 150th anniversary during services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 13, at 175 N. Main St.
    The celebration begins with a continental breakfast at 9 a.m. Sunday. Pastor Pamela Nelson-Munson will give a sermon during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. A potluck meal with fried chicken, beverages and homemade ice cream will follow the service. Former church leaders Michael and Anni Powell, who led the church from 1994 to 2007, will attend. Hymn singing will follow the food.
