Crews on the Rogue River Drive Fire have the blaze 50 percent contained, according to a news release from the Oregon Department of Forestry.

Crews have revised the fire size to 492 acres. The fire, sparked by lightning on Monday during a thunderstorm, is outside Shady Cove and about 15 miles north of Medford. Crews on Tuesday had the fire — then about 100 acres — lined, but winds pushed the flames over the containment lines.

All evacuation advisories for residents near the fire have been lifted.
