Elvia Veatrice Pearson passed away August 11, 2014 at Sacred Heart Riverbend Hospital in Sprinfield, Ore. She was born November 23, 1934. On June 13, 1949 she married RP Pearson in The Dalles, Ore. She later lived in Central Point, Ore. with her daughter, Donna Mallory, great-granddaughter, and great-great-grandson.
She is survived by her five children, Donna Mallory (Robert, dec. 2002) of Central Point, Randy Pearson (Colleen) of Riddle, Ore., Rita Kinsella (Tom) of Central Point, Ore., Ralph Pearson (Theresa) of Medford, Ore., Pam Thomas (Donald F. Thomas Jr.) of Medford, Ore.; brother, Velton Lee (June) of Gold Hill, Ore.; two sisters, Shirley Emler (Ken) of Central Point and Jean Thomason (Chester, dec. 2002) of Central Point; 15 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, RP Pearson in 2002; great-granddaughter, Shiesha Thomas in 2003; parents, Edith and Quincy Lee; brother, Virgil Lee; and many, many in-laws and other family members.
Her celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Calvary Temple Worship Center in Central Point, where she attended under the Pastorship of Marilyn Tucker.
