Donald Eugene Jackson, 62, passed away July 21, 2014 at Rogue Valley Hospital. Don was born January 16, 1952 in Medford, Ore. to Forrest and Sharon Jackson, and grandparents, Dale and Beulah Jackson and Oscar and Marie Tuffs. He attended school in Southern California during most of his early years, graduating from Helix High in La Mesa in 1970. He later moved to Medford and married Laurie Lamb (Fleser) and had a son, Nathan Jackson. He founded two local businesses, Nature's Control and Ladybug Indoor Gardens. After a divorce he met the love of his life, Leanne Williams. Leanne passed away to cancer 20 years later at their home in Azalea, Ore.

Don was the oldest of four children and is survived by his parents; brothers, Richard and Norm Jackson; sister, Karen Hydanus; son, Nathan Jackson; aunts, Wilma Glenn, Shirly Keeney, and Wendy Jackson; uncle, Wayne Jackson; and multiple cousins. He is also survived by his daily companion for the last seven years, his dog, Oscar, now in Tiller, Ore. A memorial will be held at a later date.
