  • St. Mark's services
    St. Mark's Episcopal Church will offer worship services at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford.

    MCUCC service
    Rev. Kurt Katzmar will give a sermon titled "Universal Visions," at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at Medford Congregational United Church of Christ, 1801 E. Jackson St. The service will look at how the Book of Revelation addresses an interconnected world, and Katzmar will preach on views of Revelation that are not usually discussed.
    The church will offer a forum titled "Transforming Health Care — How Health Care is Changing in Southern Oregon," at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at the church's Lidgate Social Hall. Lunch will be offered. Call 541-772-8860.
    Center for Spiritual Living service
    Neale Donald Walsch, interim spiritual director for the Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley, will give a service titled "The part of you that needs no healing," at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at 3581 Lear Way. A children's program will be offered during the service. Bridget Wolf will provide music, and congregants are encouraged to bring drums for a drumming circle that will be held after the service.
    A spiritual study group will continue its discussion of Book Three of the "Conversations with God" series by Walsch at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Books are furnished. See www.cslroguevalley.org.
    RVUUF services
    Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will give a sermon titled "Universalism: Love, Justice and a Common Destiny," at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at 87 Fourth St., Ashland.     Events at Butte Creek Baptist
    Butte Creek Baptist Church will hold its worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at 429 N. Royal Ave., Eagle Point.
    A Bible study is offered from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at the church.
    The church's annual spaghetti dinner, raffle and auction benefitting the church's missionary work has been rescheduled to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26. Call 541-840-7884.
    Christ Unity Church events
    Rev. Rob Wheeler will give a service titled "An Advanced Class," at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford.
    A "healing from the heart clinic" is offered at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the church. A silent unity prayer service is offered at 11 a.m. Wednesdays, followed by a metaphysical bible discussion at 11:30 a.m. Call 541-772-6902.
