Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Christian James Sleeper, 23, of Eugene. Talent police arrested Sleeper Tuesday on an additional felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Jackson County sheriff's deputies originally arrested Sleeper Tuesday on an out-of-county warrant for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon — Jeffrey Allen Payne, 54, of the 10900 block of Ramsey Road, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Payne Tuesday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing and pointing a firearm at another. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Angel Katherine Worthen, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Worthen Tuesday on a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Conner Shane Streitler, 23, of the 500 block of Glenn Way, Central Point. Medford police arrested Streitler Tuesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, and a misdemeanor second-degree theft charge. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Kathlyn Alexandra Bucholz-Fomin, 29, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Bucholz-Fomin Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing a Schedule II controlled substance and for violating her parole. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Elude — Trevor Weston Landers, 23, of the 400 block of Kellogg Street, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Landers Tuesday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and possessing heroin, misdemeanor charges of reckless endangering and reckless driving, and for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first- and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Robert Hunter Simpson, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Simpson Wednesday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Brandon J. Richards, 28, of the 900 block of East Nevada Street, Ashland. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Richards Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Luring a Minor — Eliseo Delacruz-Coronel, 40, of Salem. On Wednesday, Delacruz-Coronel made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of luring a minor. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — John Langan Doran, 55, of the 600 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. On Wednesday, Doran made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

 

Crime reports

Vandalism — First block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a large glass window that was reported vandalized at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $1,001.

Theft — 800 block of West Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen red Specialized mountain bike at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Theft — 3500 block of Excel Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 11:47 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a Lenovo laptop computer, black and gray Swiss Army backpack and assorted cords and cables. The loss and damage to the vehicle's rear passenger window was valued at $1,900.
