Felony arrests

Theft — Dylan Keith Hewlett, 25, of the 2000 bock of Lampman Road, Gold Hill. Central Point police arrested Hewlett Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Theft — Cortney Diane Gibson, 21, of the 2000 block of Lampman Road, Gold Hill. Central Point police arrested Gibson Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Contraband — Adam Keith Dickinson, 29, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Dickinson Thursday on felony charges of supplying contraband, distributing methamphetamine and possessing meth, a  misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree theft conviction. He remained lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Brian Joseph Moehring, 43, of Happy Camp, California. Talent police arrested Moehring Thursday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Nikolai Duke Arapoff, 21, of the 100 block of Clay Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Arapoff Friday on felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse, first-degree theft, misdemeanor charges of attempted assault on a police officer, harassment, resisting arrest, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous first-degree trespassing charge and an out-of-county warrant for failing to present his license. He was lodged in jail Friday on $557,500 bail.

Theft — Gerald David Leonardo Jr., 30, of the 2300 block of Brownsboro Highway, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Leonardo Friday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and for violating his parole on a previous aggravated identity theft conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Assault — Juan Carlos Ibarra, 28, of the 800 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ibarra Friday on felony charges of fourth-degree assault and coercion, and on a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Friday.

Drugs — Brianna Marie Jones, 23, no known address. Talent police arrested Jones Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous identity theft charge. She was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Russell Robert Cagle, 59, of the 600 block of Bigham Brown Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Cagle Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a felony warrant charging him with first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Friday on $22,500 bail.

Drugs — Stephanie Ann Birch, 32, no known address. On Friday, Birch made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Brian Alan Oilar, 39, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Oilar Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail Friday on $7,500 bail.

Arson — Michael Charles McNall, 48, of the 200 block of Flounce Rock Road, Prospect. On Friday, McNall made his initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree arson and attempted aggravated first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — James Patrick Thornton, 33, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Thornton Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing cocaine. He was lodged in jail Friday on $12,500 bail.

Drugs — Jeffrey Carl Day, 39, of the 1900 block of Green Valley Way, Central Point. On Friday, Day made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Jeremy John Bremerman, 30, of the 200 block of South Second Street, Central Point. On Friday, Bremerman made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Shantil Marie Reid, 29, of the 1100 block of West Ninth Street, Medford. On Friday, Reid made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Crime reports

Theft — 500 block of Medford Center, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 11:38 a.m. Friday. Eyeglass frames by Armani, Vogue and DKNY were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,040.
