Felony arrests

Drugs — Sommer Ann Humphreys, 21, of the 1100 block of Peachwood Court, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Humphreys on charges of possession of methamphetamine and hydrocodone, possession of two other controlled substances and for failing to appear in court on four previous drug charges. She was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Stefanie Kae Taylor, 48, of Diamond Lake. Oregon State Police on Monday arrested Taylor on charges of possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was lodged Monday in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Burglary — Daniel Guy Mallory, 37, of the first block of Meadowfield Circle, Eagle Point. Medford police Monday arrested Mallory on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools and second-degree trespass. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Sean Fredrick Niemi, 51, no known address. Niemi made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked Monday in jail and released.

Drugs — Daniel Joseph Buchert, 44, of the 700 block of Posse Lane, Medford. Buchert made his initial appearance Monday in circuit court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked Monday in jail and released.

Strangulation — Trenton Earl Byle, 27, of the 200 block of West Rapp Road, Talent. Talent police Monday arrested Byle on warrants for strangulation and fourth-degree assault charges. He was lodged Monday in jail on $4,000 bail.

Vehicle theft — Jordan Ladon Wallace, 25, of the 100 block of West Vilas Road, Central Point. Eagle Point police Sunday arrested Wallace on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, second-degree theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was lodged Sunday in jail on $35,000 bail.

Vehicle theft — Joshua David Powell, 23, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Powell on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, attempting to elude in a vehicle, driving while suspended, failure to appear on a previous vehicle-theft charge and violating the conditions of his parole on a previous elude conviction. He was lodged Sunday in jail without bail.
