Felony arrests

Elude — Matthew Alan Hale, 27, of the 2300 block of Devonshire Place, Central Point. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Hale Monday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — William Walter Wiest Jr., 22, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Wiest Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Andrew Joseph Ragsdale, 37, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. On Tuesday, Ragsdale made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Dawnell Marie Ragsdale, 39, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. On Tuesday, Ragsdale made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Sex Offender Registration — Edward Bryant Shelton Jr., 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Shelton Tuesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Paul Adam Medina, 31, of the 1200 block of Locust Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Medina Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Brittney Lorna Hooper, 28, of the 7500 block of 27th Street, White City. Medford police arrested Hooper Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on a sanction for violating her probation on a previous unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Toriano Lee Butler, 44, no known address. Medford police arrested Butler Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $15,000 bail.

Supplying Contraband — Luis Raymond Villa, 35, of the 6900 block of Pico Drive, Central Point. On Tuesday, Villa made a court appearance on felony charges of supplying contraband, distributing and possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run and driving while suspended. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Assault — Skylar McKenzie Walls, 21, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies arrested McKenzie Tuesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault witnessed by a minor, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment, interfering with a police report and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $20,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 12:21 p.m. Monday. Numerous eyeglass frames were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $22,000.

Theft — 1900 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen metal vacuum at 4:04 p.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $3,000.
