AGE: Copper is a handsome, happy-go-lucky, 3-year-old Lab and Plott hound mix who loves to romp and play.

PERSONALITY: He is sweet, affectionate and loves to be around people. He takes treats gently and is food motivated, which means he is easy to train.

HIGHLIGHTS: Copper has a high prey drive, is not good with cats (chickens are OK), and needs to be secured at all times, especially when left in your yard. He’s a great “take-along” dog, plays well with other dogs, and would love daily exercise to burn off his positive high energy!

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week.

COST: Copper’s adoption fee is $95, and includes a free one-hour in-home training session and wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Copper is neutered.
