AGE: Luna is a 3-year-old, outgoing brindle pit bull terrier who came to the shelter pregnant. She was owned by a loving homeless person who showered her with love, but could not handle a litter of puppies.

PERSONALITY: Luna delivered her pups at the shelter and then spent time in a foster home until her pups were weaned. She is affectionate and loves spending time with her people.

HIGHLIGHTS: Luna does well with other playful and respectful dogs. She saw a lot of things “on the road” and likes to talk about her adventures. And loves it when you pay attention to her storytelling.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week.

COST: Luna’s adoption fee is $50, and you get an in-home training session, as well as a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Luna is spayed.
