AGE: Lucy is a very interesting-looking 3-year-old basset hound and Chihuahua mix. She’s low to the ground and built for fun and games.

PERSONALITY: Lucy would do best as the only animal in the household and as your constant companion. She craves company. Lucy chases small animals, and cshe an will find her way out your yard to search for you if left unattended.

HIGHLIGHTS: Lucy is affectionate, active and smart. She loves games with balls, squeaky toys, “hide the food,” etc. Exercise, games and snuggles define her perfect day.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week.

COST: Lucy’s adoption fee is $95, and includes a free in-home training and a wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Lucy is spayed.
