PERSONALITY: Steve is a sweet and affectionate shepherd mix looking for his retirement home. He still has some romp in him, and he likes to play with female dogs.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S Pacific Hwy, Phoenix. Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.

COST: Steve’s adoption fee is $105, and includes a free 1-hour in-home training and a wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Steve is neutered.
