AGE: My name is Baby Kitty, but I’m actually a distinguished 11-year-young Torti lady looking for a wonderful retirement home.

PERSONALITY: I was surrendered to the shelter because my owners moved and could not take me with them. I have lived with other cats and dogs, but I am getting older and can’t move quite as fast as I once could, so a quieter home would be lovely.

HIGHLIGHTS: I am a sweet cat who likes my space, and also loves warm laps … cuddling is so nice (sometimes!). If you are looking for a quiet new best friend, I’m your girl.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S Pacific Hwy, Phoenix. Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.

COST: Baby Kitty’s adoption fee is $45, and includes a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Baby Kitty is spayed.
