Lithia Motors has added Honolulu Ford to its collection of dealerships in Hawaii.

The Medford auto retailer now operates six dealerships in the the 50th state, including five in Honolulu. All told, Lithia runs 153 stores in 17 states.

"Clustering locations in a condensed geographic area allows us to develop and share talent, leverage corporate overhead, and build on our positive reputation in the market."

Lithia added a Ford dealership in Thousand Oaks, California, in August and one in Casper, Wyoming, in September. The new acquisition is expected to add $90 million in revenue annually, pushing the company's total acquired annual revenue to $1.1 billion in 2016.
