Felony arrests

Burglary — Kaidyn John Weigert, 19, of the 2300 block of Falcon Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Weigert Monday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the Jackson County jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Octavio Carrasco Teran, 36, no known address. Medfrod police arrested Teran Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous menacing charge. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday.

Drugs — Nicholas Jermain Washington, 35, of the 300 block of Fairmount Street, Medford. On Tuesday, Washington made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Rape — Gabriel Anthony Tellez, 21, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Tellez Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with first-degree rape. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $1 million bail.

Drugs — Timothy David Allen Jr., 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Allen Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing methamphetamine. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail.

Robbery — Andrew Robert Brickley, 32, of the 3200 block of Antelope Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Brickley Tuesday on felony charges of third-degree robbery and possessing methamphetamine and heroin, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, strangulation, harassment, first-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Colyn Bryce Shephard, 23, of the 6900 block of Pinehurst Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Shephard Wednesday on felony charges of distributing and possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Cera Freier, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Freier Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, identity theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Assault — Casey Jacob Pepin, 25, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Pepin Wednesday on felony charges of second-degree assault and coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing and strangulation. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $117,500 bail.

 

Crime reports

Theft — 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen bed with headboard and Bluetooth speaker system at 3:12 p.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $3,500.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a motor vehicle at 10:14 p.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous clothing, a Microsoft Surface 3 tablet, an iPhone 6S, makeup and hair products, a Samsung tablet and miscellaneous household items. The loss was valued at $4,700.

Theft — 2100 block of Jubilant Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Stihl concrete chainsaw at 6:31 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $1,200.

Theft — 1400 block of Oleander Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen Kicker speakers from a vehicle at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday. The loss and damage to the vehicle window was valued at $1,500.

Burglary — 1100 block of Morrow Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary to a residence at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included jewelry and a silver urn containing the victim's father's ashes. The loss was valued at $4,219.
