Felony arrests

Drugs — Christian Joseph Raymond Fort, 26, of the 400 block of Phyllis Drive, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Fort Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for violating his parole on a previous methamphetamine possession conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Justine Priscilla Marie Gonzales, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Gonzales Tuesday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing heroin and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous heroin-possession charge. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Samantha Brooke Tasior, 35, of the 1500 block of Bryant Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Tasior Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Alejandro Gilberto Castillo, 30, no known address. Ashland police arrested Castillo Wednesday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday.

Drugs — Jenna Jordyn Foote, 21, of the 500 block of Golf View Drive, Medford. On Wednesday, Foote made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Juvenal Adan Vega, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Vega Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing heroin and methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon, and for violating his parole on a previous identity theft conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Theft Conspiracy — Michael Shane Newman, 43, no known address. Ashland police arrested Newman Wednesday on felony charges of conspiring to commit first-degree theft, first-degree theft, identity theft, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, third-degree theft and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $47,500 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 2400 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen bags of marijuana at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,000.
