Felony arrests

Burglary — Danny Scott Campbell, 51, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Campbell Thursday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault, misdemeanor charges of reckless endangering, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft and harassment. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $100,000 bail.

Sex Offender Registration — Miguel Joseph Barron, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Barron Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with failing to register his address as a sex offender and for violating his parole on a previous strangulation conviction. He remained lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Kenneth Michael Sikes, 37, of the 4100 block of Old Stage Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Sikes Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine and heroin. He was lodged in jail Friday on $25,000.

Murder — Frank Joseph Hernandez Jr., 24, of the 2100 block of Taylor Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Hernandez Friday on felony charges of murder, coercion, second-degree kidnapping, distributing heroin, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, first-degree theft and altering a firearm ID, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and tampering with evidence. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Hindering Prosecution — Wendi Ruth Burrill, 55, of the 13500 block of Three Oaks Drive, White City. Medford police arrested Burrill Friday on a felony charge of hindering prosecution and a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. She was lodged in jail Friday on $12,500 bail.

Hindering Prosecution — Vernon Ear Auten Jr., 58, no known address. Medford police arrested Auten Friday on a felony charge of hindering prosecution and a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. He was lodged in jail Friday on $12,500 bail.
