A low-cost vaccination clinic for cats and dogs will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix.

Vaccinations cost $10 apiece. Only cash will be accepted. Dogs get shots for rabies and a distemper/parvo booster. Cats receive shots for rabies and a distemper/rhino/calici booster.

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old. They cannot be ill, on antibiotics, in heat or on cortisone products. Nail trims are also available for $5 apiece, and dog licenses can be purchased with a rabies certification.
