Felony arrests

Drugs — Jeff Michael Vanison, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Vanison Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor county of third-degree theft and on an out-of-county warrant. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $11,500 bail.

Weapon Use — Gregory Bailey, 19, of the 1000 block of C Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Bailey Friday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Weapon Use — Spencer Miguel Oxholm, 19, of the 1000 block of C Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Oxholm Friday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Dillon James Strutz, 25, of the 3200 block of Blackthorn Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Strutz Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a misdemeanor contempt charge. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Coercion — Chad Dean Barriga, 38, of the 200 block of Elm Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Barriga Saturday on a felony charge of coercion, and on misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault, strangulation, harassment and third-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday after posting bail.

Coercion — Brent Andrew Emery, 46, of the 3000 block of Cummings Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Emery Saturday on a felony charge of coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of strangulation, interfering with someone making a police report, harassment and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Sabrina Michelle Stevens, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Stevens Saturday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft and on a sanction for violating her probation on a previous heroin-possession charge. She was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Robbery — Anthony Michael Verastegui, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Verastegui Saturday on felony charges of third-degree robbery and possessing heroin, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, providing false information to police and second-degree theft, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of mail theft, distributing heroin and possessing meth. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $72,500 bail.
