Felony arrests

Elude — Timothy Cruz Garcia, 26, of the 1200 block of Rogue River Highway, Grants Pass. Rogue River police arrested Garcia Monday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and on out-of-county warrants for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for possessing heroin, methamphetamine and more than 32 ounces of marijuana. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $85,000 bail.

Drugs — Maribel Rodriguez, 23, of the 200 block of Benson Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Rodriguez Tuesday on felony warrants charging her with possessing methamphetamine and heroin, misdemeanor warrants charging her with second- and third-degree theft, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing oxycodone, possessing heroin, first-degree trespassing and second- and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $85,500 bail.

Drugs — Antonio Miranda Ledesma, 26, of the 3600 block of Antelope Road, White City. On Tuesday, Ledesma made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of distributing and possessing heroin. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Attempted Murder — Raymond Suarez Jr., 25, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Suarez Tuesday on felony counts of attempted murder, attempted first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $1 million bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 100 block of Kensington Square, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 12:29 p.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a sprayer, newer lawnmower, miscellaneous tools, containers and paint brushes. The loss was valued at $1,160.

Theft — 500 block of Parsons Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 3:50 p.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included various carpet cleaning tools and a toolbox containing miscellaneous tools. the loss was valued at $1,800.

Vandalism — 1900 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft and vandalism to a car wash coin unit at 6:15 p.m. Monday. The loss and damage was valued at $2,000.

Vandalism — 1900 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a car wash vacuum cleaner at 7:11 p.m. Monday. The damage was valued at $2,000.

Burglary — 500 block of Liberty Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 7:58 p.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a Sony PlayStation 4 system and about 20 games, and an educational tablet. The loss was valued at $1,479.

Theft — 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen bicycles at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday. Bikes reported stolen included a white and black mountain bike, red men's Specialized bike and red and black Huffy mountain bike. The loss was valued at $2,115.
