After spending three and a half months on the lam, a man who allegedly fired his gun at two people near an apartment complex is behind bars.
Raymond Suarez Jr., 25, was arrested Tuesday on felony warrants that include attempted murder in a February shooting that names two victims.
On Jan. 28, Suarez allegedly fired several shots from a handgun in a parking lot outside an apartment complex in the 100 block of Cottage Street, according to the Medford police Facebook page, which posted information about the crime several days later seeking Suarez's capture.
His targets included a male and a female, Jackson County Circuit Court records show. One round struck a vehicle and another round struck a residence that was occupied at the time, according to police.
Suarez was booked in the Jackson County Jail at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday, Jackson County Jail records show, where he remains held on $1 million bail for two counts of attempted murder, two counts of attempted first-degree assault and three counts of unlawful use of a weapon. A court appearance had not been scheduled as of press time Tuesday.
