Felony arrests

Drugs — Mari Elizabeth Matthews, 34, of the 900 block of West 13th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Matthews Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth and trespassing. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $20,000 bail.

Drugs — Joshua Daniel Nurss, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Nurss Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Daylene Nicole Padilla, 32, of the 600 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Padilla Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed knife. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Brandon Charles Ceremony, 19, of South Jordan, Utah. Medford police arrested Ceremony Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and third-degree theft. He remained lodged in jail Tuesday on $50,000 bail.

Drugs — David Newton Everett Jr., 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Everett Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a weapons conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Impaired Driving — Theresa Gaye Wenger, 53, of the 600 block of Shan Creek Road, Grants Pass. On Tuesday, Wenger made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony count of driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance. 

Criminal Mischief — Nicholas Adam Patton, 27, of the 2900 block of New Hope Road, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Patton Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a vehicle and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on a misdemeanor charge of interfering with police. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $27,500 bail.

Drugs — Gerald Andrew Frigaard, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Frigaard Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of menacing, interfering with police, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Jillian Lisa Marie Mahon, 28, of the 1700 block of Anderson Creek Road, Talent. Medford police arrested Mahon Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of providing false information to police and second-degree trespassing and for violating her probation on previous drug and vehicle theft charges. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Vincent Russell Jacobo, 33, of the 1700 block of Anderson Creek Road, Talent. Medford police arrested Jacobo Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, carrying a concealed knife, second-degree trespassing and for violating his parole on a previous meth-distribution conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Aaron James Chase, 34, of the 1200 block of Locust Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Chase Tuesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing meth. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 1800 block of Inverness Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:15 a.m. Monday. A Honda generator was reported stolen, and the loss was valued at $1,200.

Vandalism — 100 block of North Front Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle's driver-side door at 9:14 a.m. Monday. The damage was valued at $1,400.

Theft — 300 block of North Keene Way Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:56 a.m. Monday. bags of climbing equipment, Smith sunglasses and socket sets were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,680.

Vandalism — 800 block of O'Hare Parkway, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 2:26 p.m. Monday. Damage to the vehicle's fuel door and fuel tank was valued at $1,000.
