Felony arrests

Burglary — Brandon Charles Ceremony, 19, of South Jordan, Utah. Medford police arrested Ceremony Wednesday on additional felony counts of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and unautorized use of a motor vehicle. Medford police originally arrested Ceremony Tuesday on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous vehicle theft charge. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $70,000 bail.

Drugs — Javier Antonio Ruiz, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Ruiz Tuesday on felony counts of distributing and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor warrant charging him with interfering with police, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, possessing meth, interfering with police and a contempt of court charge. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $42,500 bail.

Elude — Sky Dominick Real, 21, of the 600 block of West Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Real Tuesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a felony warrant charging Real with attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief, interfering with police, reckless endangering, hit-and-run, driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended and attempting to elude police on foot. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — John David Retallick III, 37, no known address. Ashland police arrested Retallick Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Criminal Mistreatment — Michael Carlisle Monson, 62, of the 22000 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. On Wednesday, Monson made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on seven felony counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment, five felony counts of aggravated first-degree theft and a single felony count of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Criminal Mistreatment — Anna Margaret Monson, 54, of the 22000 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. On Wednesday, Monson made her initial court appearance on seven felony counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment, five felony counts of aggravated first-degree theft and a single felony count of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Assault — Michael John Wiloth, 28, of the 1300 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Wiloth Wednesday on felony charges of third-degree assault, failing to perform the duties of a driver to an injured person and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $42,500 bail.

Burglary — Robert Phillip Tallman, 30, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tallman Wednesday on felony counts of second-degree burglary and first-degree theft, and for violating his parole on a previous third-degree assault conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Sexual Abuse — Connor C. Stephens, 28, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Stephens Wednesday on two felony warrants charging him with second-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $20,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 3000 block of Samike Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen utility trailer at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,200.

Theft — 2200 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included bags containing miscellaneous tools, miscellaneous heating and air conditioning tools, a digital pressure gauge and plumbing tools. The loss was valued at $2,190.
