Felony arrests

Drugs — Jayson Wesley Boyd, 37, of the 4200 block of Camp Joy Road, Grants Pass. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Task Force arrested Boyd Wednesday on additional felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing heroin and for distributing and possessing methamphetamine. MADGE originally arrested Boyd Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $500,000 bail.

Drugs — Allan Matthew Pirnie, 56, no known address. Medford police arrested Pirnie Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Tieya Symone Swift, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Swift Wednesday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous first-degree trespassing charge. She remained lodged in jail Thursday on $22,500 bail.

Drugs — Colin Taylor Duff, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Duff Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing and on a warrant for failing to appear on a previous meth-possession charge.

Drugs — Steven Ray Palmer, 33, of the 600 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Palmer Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a previous meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Elude — Matthew John Delco, 39, of the 2400 block of Falcon Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Delco Thursday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of attempting to elude police on foot and on warrants for failing to appear in court for previous charges of first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possessing heroin, hit-and-run and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail.

Computer Crime — Rochelle Lee Stocker, 42, of the 2200 block of Southwest Esther Lane, Grants Pass. On Thursday, Stocker made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of computer crime, first-degree theft and misdemeanor second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Jose Ansencion Cortez, 21, of the 1300 block of Northeast Evans Street, Grants Pass. On Thursday, Cortez made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of reckless endangering and reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Forgery — Terence Allen Buttram, 44, of the 18700 block of Highway 62, Eagle Point. On Thursday, Buttram made his initial court appearance on two felony counts of first-degree forgery. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Kestan Tyler Brooks, 18, of the 900 block of Delsie Drive, Grants Pass. On Thursday, Brooks made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Theft — John Melvin Herron, 64, of the 600 block of Corwin Street, Myrtle Creek. On Thursday, Herron made his initial court appearance on two felony counts of first-degree theft, and on two misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Assaulting an Officer — Kaylieb Madison Joss, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Joss Thursday on two felony counts of assaulting a police officer, a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest, on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon, harassment and disorderly conduct, and for violating his parole on a previous conviction for assaulting a police officer. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Sex Offender Registration — James H. M. Schreiber, 82, no known address. Central Point police arrested Schreiber Thursday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.
