Investigators ruled out intentional causes to a Wednesday afternoon manufactured home fire in Central Point.

The double-wide trailer fire at 6270 Crater Lake Ave. began in the kitchen, according to a Jackson County Fire District No. 3 release. The fire, first reported at 3:38 p.m. July 5, occurred on the same lot as Economy Plywood, which owns the property.

Crews from all over the valley assisted in the fire, which within minutes caused the manufactured home to burn to the ground and damaged two nearby trailers, a garage and a vehicle. Four dogs were displaced by the fire, but are all OK.
