Rogue Valley Symphony's executive director has retired after three years on the job.

Jane Kentworthy stepped down from the post June 30 at the conclusion of her contract, capping a 45-year career in arts management, according to a news release. While with Rogue Valley Symphony, Kentworthy helped boost audience attendance and charitable contributions, the release said.

Kentworthy started her own consulting practice, the release said, and continues to live in the Rogue Valley.

Joelle Graves, who has worked as the director of marketing and development for the Southern Oregon Repertory Singers, Britt Festivals' education director and manager of Rogue Music Theatre, stepped into the interim executive director role July 1.
