Felony arrests

Burglary — Jose Samuel Ramos-Vance, 18, of the first block of South Orange Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Ramos-Vance Wednesday on an additional felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor count of second-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Ramos-Vance Sunday on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and interfering with someone making a police report. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $30,000 bail.

Theft — Ryan Clarke Lawrence, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Lawrence Wednesday on an additional felony count of first-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Lawrence Monday on a felony count of possessing heroin.

Robbery — Megan Rae Jean Hannah, 23, of the 600 block of Pearwood Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Hannah Wednesday on an additional felony charge of third-degree robbery and misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and harassment. She was originally booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Sex Offender Registration — Robin Stewart Dowell, 63, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Dowell Tuesday on a felony charge of failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Criminal Mischief — Robert Phillip Tallman, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Tallman Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and for violating his parole on a previous third-degree assault conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Brandy Nicole Bentley, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Bentley Tuesday on a felony count of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, attempting to elude police on foot, reckless driving, second-degree criminal mischief and reckless endangering. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Medford police arrested Bentley Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, attempting to elude police on foot, reckless driving, second-degree criminal mischief and reckless endangering. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Eric Paul Hulsman, 30, no known address. Talent police arrested Hulsman Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of providing false information to police, interfering with police, attempted first-degree theft, second- and third degree theft, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth, driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree theft and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Witness Tampering — Robert Brian Karbowski, 37, of the 1700 block of Harbeck Road, Grants Pass. On Wednesday, Karbowski made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of tampering with a witness. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Sam Edward Smith Jr., 44, of the 7500 block of Gladstone Avenue, White City. Medford police arrested Smith Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a second-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Brittany Leann Bee, 25, of the 5500 block of 27th Street, White City. Medford police arrested Bee Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree theft, and on an out-of-county warrant charging her with possessing heroin within 1,000 feet of a school. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $57,500 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Sarah Anne Ballou, 33, of Williams. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Ballou Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and providing false information to police. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail.

Drugs — Martinez Thomas, 63, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Thomas Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, possessing a Schedule II controlled substance and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $32,500 bail.

Assault — Jeffery Wayne Hoskins, 35, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Hoskins Wednesday on felony warrants charging him with second-degree assault and coercion, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with felon in possession of a restricted weapon and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $1 million bail.
