Felony arrests

Theft — Jose Samuel Ramos-Vance, 18, of the 0 block of South Orange Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Ramos-Vance on a charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding.

Theft — Dylan Lee Smith, 21, of the 0 block of Reager Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Smith on a charge of first-degree theft and for failure to appear on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving and two counts of second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in jail and released because of overcrowding.

Elude — Vincent Russell Jacobo, 33, of the 2000 block of Grandview Avenue, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Jacobo on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, reckless driving, two counts of endangering and a parole violation for distributing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $22,500 bail.

Elude, vehicle theft — Jacob Benjamin Hefner, 33, of the 800 block of Golf View Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Saturday arrested Hefner on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, driving while suspended, reckless driving and a probation violation for possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Paul Emanuel Norton, 34, of the 600 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Saturday arrested Norton on charges of possession of methamphetamine, second-degree theft and a parole violation for a previous possession of methamphetamine charge. He was lodged in jail on $10,500 bail.

Theft — Ryan Scott Hamilton, 39, of the 2000 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Saturday arrested Hamilton on a charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Lacie Maree West, 21, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested West on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for failure to appear on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving and attempting to elude police in a vehicle. She was booked in jail and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Cary Rhyse Jordahl, 25, of the 500 block of South King Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Jordahl on charges of two counts of possession of heroin, distribution of heroin, giving false information to police, a probation violation and for failure to appear on a charge of interfering with police. He was lodged in jail on $43,000 bail.

Drugs — Robert David Smith, 43, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Smith on charges of possession of methamphetamine, second-degree trespassing and an out-of-county warrant for a parole violation for a previous possession of methamphetamine charge. He was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 0 block of South Orange Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Saturday of theft. An Alienware desktop computer was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $2,000.

Theft — 1800 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Medford. Medford police took a report Saturday of theft from a vehicle. Lasered BMW keys and a Michael Kohrs wallet were reported stolen. The loss and damage to the vehicles windows was valued at $1,100.

Theft — 800 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Saturday of theft from a vehicle. Four Stihl chainsaws were reported stolen, and a container lock was cut. The loss and damage was valued at $3,930.

Burglary — 700 block of West Second Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Saturday of a burglary to a residence. A yellow gold ring with a blue gemstone, a white gold ring with a sapphire stone, two gold linked necklaces and a silver linked necklace were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,150.
