Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Varin Anderson Stuckey, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Stuckey Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday on $7,500 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Jonnee Marie Burg, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Burg Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Rosamber Lopez, 21, of the 1500 block of Meadows Lane, Meadford. Medford police arrested Lopez Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, hit-and-run, second-degree trespassing and third-degree theft. He remained lodged in jail Saturday on $50,000 bail.

Forgery — William Walter Wiest Jr., 23, of the 300 block of North Peach Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Wiest Friday on felony charges of first-degree forgery and possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Elude — Michael James Robert Holden, 22, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Holden Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree theft and harassment. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $13,000 bail.

Robbery — Terrance Scott Clemens, 28, of the 2100 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Clemens Saturday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery and misdemeanor charges of harassment and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail.

Drugs — Matthew Michael Andress, 32, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Andress Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance, on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing heroin and for violating his parole on a previous conviction for possessing a Schedule II controlled substance. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Elude — Jeremy Scott Dwyer, 26, of the 7600 block of Garrison Avenue, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Dwyer Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless endangering. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Sex Offender Registration — Jimmy Lee Akins, 47, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Akins Saturday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police and on a warrant for failing to appear on a previous charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $20,000 bail.

Theft — Timothy Wayne Sproat, 34, of Gresham. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Sproat Saturday on felony charges of first-degree theft and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. 

Drugs — Jeffrey Allen Michael Wright, 33, of the 3400 block of Sharon Way, White City. Medford police arrested Wright Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of possessing heroin and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Burglary — Lora Lynn Scissons, 56, no known address. Medford police arrested Scissons Saturday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $22,500 bail.
