Felony arrests

Identity Theft — Preble Henry Dizick Jr., 37, of the 400 block of Freeman Road, Central Point. Talent police arrested Dizick Monday on a felony charge of identity theft, and on misdemeanor charges of interfering with police and providing false information to police. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released Tuesday.

Drugs — Linda Gail Archuletta, 49, of the 900 block of Second Avenue, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Archuletta Monday on felony warrants for distributing and possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, driving under the influence of intoxicants, possessing hydrocodone and driving while suspended. She was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Ira Matthew Ponder, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Ponder Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Rosalva Elena Licea, 43, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Licea Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of meth-possession, second-degree trespassing and third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Vehicle Theft — Jeffery Alan Jordan, 29, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Jordan Tuesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday.

Vehicle Theft — Lloyd Stanley Sinclair, 36, of the 12000 block of Old Stage Road, Gold Hill. On Tuesday, Sinclair made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Theft — Elizabeth Anne Gibson, 34, of the 600 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. On Tuesday, Gibson made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Assault — Joshua Allen Potthoff, 33, no known address. Ashland police arrested Potthoff Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and second-degree trespassing. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Theft — Jeffrey Alan Connors, 44, of the 300 block of Clay Street, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Connors Tuesday on a felony warrant charging first-degree theft, and on misdemeanor warrants for negotiating a bad check, second- and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday.

Assault — Brice Michael Lee Owen, 26, no known address. Ashland police arrested Owen Tuesday on felony charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct and fourth-degree assault. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday.

Drugs — James Lee Goodell, 45, of the 900 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Goodell Tuesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, and on misdemeanor charges of failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday, and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree rape conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — David Allen Frasure, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Frasure Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of meth-possession, second- and third-degree theft and first-degree trespassing. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $35,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Shelby James Galligan, 46, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Central Point police arrested Galligan Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Assaulting an Officer — Michael Dean Wooton, 58, of the 1600 block of Minear Road, Medford. Jacksonville police arrested Wooton Tuesday on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer and on misdemeanor charges of interfering with police, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday after posting bail.

Kidnapping — Brandon Kenneth Acosta, 23, of the 100 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Acosta Wednesday on felony charges of second-degree kidnapping, coercion, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $132,500 bail.

Drugs — Alisssa Noel McIntosh, 23, of the 300 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. On Wednesday, McIntosh made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing heroin. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Wendy Luann Ford, 35, of the 5200 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ford Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Steve Paul Nielsen, 41, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Nielsen Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen bikes at 8:44 a.m. Tuesday. One bike was described as a Specialized Stump Jumper Pro valued at $11,000 and another was a black mountain bike with black lettering valued at $2,000.

Vandalism — 3100 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday. The paint damage was valued at $3,000.

Burglary — 900 block of Alba Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included about $200 worth of sports drinks and bottled iced tea, and $800 worth of various food items.
