Felony arrests

Assault — Jasmine Beth Kenton, 19, of the 3000 block of Avenue A, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Kenton Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, menacing and harassment. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Mail Theft — Brandon Salvador Munoz, 20, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Munoz Thursday on 15 felony counts of mail theft, felony charges of first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle and interfering with firefighters or emergency medical technicians. He remained lodged in jail Friday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — Frank Javier Villareal, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Villareal Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order. He was lodged in jail Friday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Dominique Ashton Esqueda, 24, of the 3200 block of Avenue A, White City. On Friday, Esqueda made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Theft — Janette Marie Vanhoy, 41, no known address. On Friday, Vanhoy made her initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree theft, identity theft and possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Derrick Lee Austin Atterberry, 37, of the 1100 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Atterberry Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a previous unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1100 block of East Vilas Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen food at 2:45 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $1,000.

Vandalism — 1600 block of Sage Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary and vandalism to a business at 7:06 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $1,600.
