Felony arrests

Burglary — Shayne William Gorgen, 36, of the 800 block of Swing Lane, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Gorgen Wednesday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault, and on a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $35,000 bail.

Sexual Abuse — Samuel L. Tinsley, 66, of the 800 block of St. Andrews Way, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Tinsley Wednesday on three felony counts of attempted first-degree sexual abuse and three misdemeanor counts of third-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $37,500 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 300 block of East Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a Dell Workstation computer stolen from a motor vehicle at 1:34 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,200.

Burglary — 1500 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included three necklaces, five rings, two cowboy hats, six purses and a wristwatch. A flat-screen TV, bathroom mirror and bedroom wall were reported damaged. The loss and damage was valued at $5,415.
