Felony arrests

Aggravated Harassment — Alberto Salcedo-Jimenez, 34, no known address. Central Point police arrested Salcedo-Jimenez Wednesday on three felony warrants charging him with aggravated harassment, three misdemeanor warrants for attempting to assault a police officer, and for violating his probation on prior first-degree burglary and meth-possession convictions. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $60,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Elizabeth Divine Hudson, 21, of the 2500 block of Lampman Road, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Hudson Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of attempting to elude police on foot. She remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Christopher Joseph Baker, 26, of the 5500 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Baker Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a previous unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. He remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Assault — Chad Michael Heppner, 41, of the 200 block of Meadow Lane, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies and Eagle Point police arrested Heppner Wednesday on felony charges of third-degree assault and second-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, resisting arrest, interfering with police, second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief. He remained lodged in jail Thursday on $92,500 bail.

Sex Offender Registration — Jose Antonio Steiner, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Steiner Thursday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, and for violating his parole on a prior conviction for failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.
