Felony arrests

Burglary — Jacob Randall Granger, 26, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Granger Friday on additional felony charges of first-degree burglary, felon in possession of a firearm and first-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Granger Wednesday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, aggravated first-degree theft and first-degree theft. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Matteen H. Jafarzadeh, 25, of the 1200 block of Northeast John Drive, Grants Pass. Central Point police arrested Jafarzadeh Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, delivering, manufacturing and possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine. He remained lodged in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Drugs — Zacharea M. Jafarzadeh, 26, of the 1200 block of Northeast John Drive, Grants Pass. Central Point police arrested Jafarzadeh Thursday on felony charges of delivering and manufacturing heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, and manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin. He remained lodged in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Burglary — Jennifer Lynn Sands, 42, no known address. Medford police arrested Sands Friday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing, second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Friday on $30,000 bail.

Drugs — Pamela Nicole Miles, 33, no known address. Medford police and Jackson County Sheriff's deputies arrested Miles Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine and second-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Friday on $10,000 bail.

Criminal Mischief — Gilbert Anthony Luna, 50, no known address. Ashland police arrested Luna Friday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing and reckless endangering. He was lodged in jail Friday on $17,500 bail.

Drugs — Ben Vanhulzen, 65, of the 2000 block of Kings Highway, Medford. On Friday, Vanhulzen made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Brian Paul Johnson, 53, of the 500 block of Oak Street, Central Point. On Friday, Johnson made a court appearance on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Theft — Ryan Burns Richie, 38, of the 4300 block of South Stage Road, Medford. Eagle Point police arrested Richie Friday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Friday on $7,500 bail.

Theft — Austin Jared Saunders, 23, of the 400 block of East Dutton Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Saunders Friday on a felony charge of first-degree theft, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and unlawfully entering a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail Friday on $17,500 bail.

Drugs Conspiracy — Yoseline Thania Villaneda, 21, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force and Medford police arrested Vallaneda Friday on a felony charge of conspiring to deliver heroin, a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence, and on warrants for violating her probation on previous convictions for hindering prosecution, possessing a stolen vehicle, possessing cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Friday on $57,500 bail.

Elude — Mario Castro, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Castro Friday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and felon in possession of a firearm, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and possessing methamphetamine and for violating his probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Elude — Emmanel Snowden Jr., 37, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Snowden Friday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and conspiring to deliver heroin, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, reckless endangering and tampering with evidence, and for violating his parole on a previous racketeering conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.
