Felony arrests

Burglary — Jacob Randall Granger, 26, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Granger Friday on additional felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft  and possessing heroin. Medford police originally arrested Granger Sept. 6 on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, aggravated first-degree theft and first-degree theft. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail.

Coercion — Nathan Adam Turner, 47, of the 300 block of Joseph Street, Central Point. Talent police arrested Turner Friday on a felony charge of coercion and a misdemeanor charge of violating a no-contact order. He was booked in the jail and released Friday after posting bail.

Burglary — Jill Elizabeth Schermett, 37, of the 700 block of North Second Avenue, Gold Hill. On Friday, Schermett made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Randy Joseph Roy, 32, of the 1800 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. On Friday, Roy made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs —Donald Franklin Thomas III, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Thomas Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine and for violating his probation on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior felon in possession of restricted weapon conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Mariah May Allen, 20, of the 100 block of De Hague Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Allen Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Friday on more than $2 million bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of West Clark Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen jewelry box full of miscellaneous pearls and gold at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $2,000.

Theft — 800 block of West 14th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 4:44 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous jewelry and prescription medication. The loss and damage to a window at the residence was valued at $4,000.
